Road Shows

Can’t come to the museum? By special arrangement with the Lane County Historical Museum, the trained interpreters of Assistance League® Eugene will bring history to you. This program is free of charge for both elementary school classrooms and senior care facilities.

For Schools: Our guides present the Oregon Heritage curriculum, including life on the trail and pioneer settlement using artifacts, pictures and stories in your classroom. Students will experience A Day in the Life of a Pioneer Child and be able to handle various items used by settlers of that time. This Road Show is approximately 45 minutes long.

To schedule a Road Show program, first check the website calendar to select available dates. Then complete the Road Show Request Form. In the event you do not receive a response from a tour coordinator within five business days, please call the Museum directly (541-682-4242).
